WHAT IS A SEIKO MOD?
A SEIKO MOD is a customized version of a standard watch. The term "MOD" comes from "modification". These modifications are generally made for those who wish to personalize their watch according to their specific tastes or needs. Modifications can vary considerably, from minor aesthetic changes to more complex technical revisions. What makes Mod watches particularly amenable to modification is the wide availability of spare parts. This abundance of components enables a wide range of customization, making each Mod watch unique.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO FINISH?
Each custom timepiece is hand built. To ensure the highest possible standards, we have a lead time of 2 to 4 weeks from the date of order to dispatch. This allows us to carry out the necessary quality control procedures and ensure that your watch is made to your satisfaction. All orders placed through our website are subject to the given lead time even if the item is shown as "In stock". Each watch is assembled by hand piece by piece in a completely handmade way by an expert with more than 10 years of experience.
WHAT MOVEMENTS DO THEY USE?
We use automatic movements such as NH34, NH35, NH36, NH38, NH70, NH72, MIYOTA 8285, VK63, VK64 and VK61. Recognized globally, these movements ensure flawless function to match your daily pace.
DO YOU SHIP OVERSEAS?
Yes, we offer free worldwide shipping on all orders. Please note that shipping times may vary depending on the destination country.
DO I HAVE TO PAY IMPORT TAX? DUTIES?
Prices include free worldwide shipping. Your country may charge import duty, tax or VAT when the watch arrives; those charges are set by your local customs authority and are the customer's responsibility. New Zealand is usually duty free; the EU, UK, Canada and the US usually are not. Full detail is on our shipping policy page.
HOW DO I TRACK MY ORDER?
Once your watch has been shipped, you will receive an email containing your tracking information. This will allow you to monitor the status of your order as it makes its way to you. If you don't see the email in your inbox, please check your spam or junk folder. If you still can't find it, use "Track Your Order" to access your tracking information.
CAN I EXCHANGE OR RETURN MY ORDER?
As each watch is made to order, we do not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind. If you change your mind within 24 hours of placing your order, before the build has started, we can cancel your order and provide a full refund.
If your watch arrives damaged, faulty, or you receive the wrong model, we will arrange a repair, replacement, or refund at no additional cost to you, including postage both ways. All watches are also covered by our 1-year warranty against manufacturing faults.
If a return is required, we will provide you with the most suitable return address. If you have any questions about sizing, specifications, or which model is right for you, please feel free to email us before placing your order.
