A Seiko mod is a custom watch built around a genuine Seiko movement, with the case, dial, hands, crystal and bracelet chosen by the builder instead of coming off Seiko's production line. Most of ours run genuine Seiko automatics such as the NH35, the NH34 GMT and the NH38 open heart, with a Miyota automatic on the Day-Date style. Each watch is built to order, so we have a lead time of 1 to 2 weeks from order to dispatch, even if an item shows as "In stock". Your watch is assembled by our manufacturing partner, pressure-tested, then inspected and photographed before it ships. We check that photograph against your exact order: model, dial, case size and bracelet. Full detail is on our shipping policy page.
Most of our watches run genuine Seiko automatic movements: the NH35 on most models, the NH34 GMT on our GMT builds, the NH38 on open heart dials, the NH70 on the skeleton Royal Oak style and the NH05 on a Santos style. The Day-Date style uses a Miyota automatic. Our chronograph styles use the Seiko VK63 meca-quartz (quartz timekeeping with a mechanical stopwatch module), and the Lady Royal Oak style uses the Seiko VJ24 quartz. Price depends on the style, movement and size. The Datejust style is our most affordable, the Santos, Nautilus, Royal Oak, Speedmaster, Aquanaut, Submariner and Seamaster styles sit in the middle, and the Bruce Wayne, Batman and Root Beer NH34 GMT builds cost the most. Every watch is covered by our 2-year warranty against manufacturing faults. Each one is built and quality-checked before it ships, automatic movements are regulated, and you see photos of your finished watch before it leaves us.
Yes, we offer free worldwide shipping on all orders. Please note that shipping times may vary depending on the destination country.
Prices include free worldwide shipping, and we cover import duty. If your country charges import duty, tax or VAT when the watch arrives, send us the receipt from the carrier or customs and we refund that amount. Full detail is on our shipping policy page.
Once your watch has been shipped, you will receive an email containing your tracking information. This will allow you to monitor the status of your order as it makes its way to you. If you don't see the email in your inbox, please check your spam or junk folder. If you still can't find it, use "Track Your Order" to access your tracking information.
As each watch is made to order, we do not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind. If you change your mind within 24 hours of placing your order, before the build has started, we can cancel your order and provide a full refund.
If your watch arrives damaged, faulty, or you receive the wrong model, we will arrange a repair, replacement, or refund at no additional cost to you, including postage both ways. All watches are also covered by our 2-year warranty against manufacturing faults.
