The list is led by the Arabic dial Datejust in white, olive, blue and black, which outsells everything else we make. Behind it sit the two GMT builds, Bruce Wayne in black and grey and Batman in blue and black, both on the genuine Seiko NH34 with a true independent 24 hour hand. The open heart Nautilus in chocolate and royal blue rounds it out, running the NH38 with the balance wheel exposed through the dial, and the Day-Date in blue Roman completes the set.

What every watch here has in common

• A genuine Japanese automatic movement. NH35 on the three hand builds, NH34 on the GMTs, NH38 on the open hearts.
• Sapphire crystal, not mineral glass and not acrylic. It is the difference between a watch that still looks new in a year and one that does not.
• A 316L stainless steel case and bracelet.
• 5 ATM, which is 50m. Rain, a sink, a spilled drink. Not swimming and not diving, and we will not pretend otherwise.
• A 1 year warranty, handled here in Melbourne rather than posted overseas.

Nothing here is sitting in a box waiting. Every watch is built to order and sized to your wrist, which takes about 2 to 3 weeks before dispatch, with free Australian shipping. Prices across this collection run from A$289 to A$399.

That wait is the trade. A stocked watch ships tomorrow and fits whoever it was built for. Yours is assembled and sized after you order it.

Not sure which one

If you want something you can wear to work and to dinner without thinking about it, take the Arabic Datejust in black or olive. If you travel or work across time zones, the GMT is the only build here that genuinely does a second time zone. If you want people to ask about it, the open heart is the one they notice.
