Which Seiko Nautilus mod should you buy?

Short answer: choose between a clean dial and an open heart. The clean-dial builds run a genuine Seiko NH35 automatic; the open-heart builds run the Seiko NH38 automatic, with part of the movement visible through the dial, and cost a little more. All twelve have the rounded porthole case, horizontally grooved dial, integrated bracelet and sapphire crystal.

Clean dials (Seiko NH35 automatic)

Royal Blue, Silver White and Silver Black are the everyday picks, Tiffany Blue and Red are the bold ones, and Rose Gold Chocolate and All Black are the moodier options.

Open hearts (Seiko NH38 automatic)

Frequently asked questions

Is a Nautilus mod a real automatic?

Yes. Each one runs a genuine Seiko automatic: the NH35, or the NH38 on the open-heart builds. It is fully mechanical and self-winding, powered by the motion of your wrist.

Can I swim or dive with it?

Not as standard. Standard builds are splash-resistant: fine for rain, hand-washing and everyday wear, but not for swimming, showering or diving. To swim with it, add the Swim-Ready 5 ATM upgrade when you order, and screw the crown down before any water.

Is this an original watch?

Yes. Every watch is an original Rosevari build: a genuine Japanese automatic movement in a case and dial style that pays homage to the classics. Every watch is sold openly as a Rosevari custom build, never as the genuine article, and we disclose every part we use.

How much does it cost and how long does it take?

Open-heart builds cost a little more than the clean-dial builds, and the Swim-Ready (5 ATM) upgrade is an optional extra. Every product page shows the current price in your local currency.
