What you get, on every watch

  • A named Japanese movement. Seiko NH35, NH36, NH34 on the GMTs, NH70 on the skeletons, and a Miyota automatic on the Day-Date. The chronographs run a Seiko VK63 meca-quartz, and we say so on their pages.
  • A sapphire crystal. Not mineral glass. It is the spec cheap builds quietly skip.
  • 904L steel, case and bracelet.
  • A dial that makes no claim it cannot back up. No certification it never passed. No town it has never been to.
  • Water resistance depends on the build and option selected. Standard watches are splash-resistant. Nautilus upgrades reach 5 ATM, and closed-back Submariner upgrades can reach 10 ATM. Follow the limit stated on the product page.
  • A 2 year warranty on the movement, crystal, case and dial.

Prices show in your own currency. The store and checkout cover the 41 countries we ship to.

Shipping is free, worldwide. Tracked and insured. Most orders arrive about a week after dispatch (allow up to 12 business days), or in 2 to 3 business days within Australia.

We cover import duty. If your country charges duty, tax or VAT when the watch arrives, send us the receipt and we refund that amount.

Every watch is built to order. Yours is assembled after you order it, not pulled off a shelf. Typically 1 to 3 weeks to build. The detail is in the shipping policy.

Every watch is photographed before it ships. We check the photo against your exact order: model, dial, case size and bracelet. Ask and I will send you the photos of yours.

The watches are built by our workshop overseas. We say that plainly because you will see it on your tracking, and you should hear it from us first.

The warranty is the same wherever you live. Two years, and one person answering the email. Not a form.

Why buy from us rather than other mod sellers

There are a handful of us. Here is where we actually differ, without pretending the others are bad.

  • We publish the calibre on every watch. If a seller will not name the movement, that tells you more than the price does.
  • Sapphire is standard, not an upgrade. No cheap tier where the crystal quietly changes.
  • We say what the water resistance really is. Splash-resistant as standard, with Swim-Ready and Dive-Ready upgrades if you want them. Not the number printed on the dial.
  • You get photographs of your actual watch before it ships, if you want them. Ask and I will send them.

Where are the watches made?
They are built to order by our workshop overseas. Rosevari is designed and run from Australia.

How long does delivery take?
Typically 1 to 3 weeks to build. After dispatch, most orders arrive in about a week (allow up to 12 business days), or in 2 to 3 business days within Australia. If you have a date to hit, email me and I will tell you straight whether it is doable.

Is shipping free?
Yes, on every watch, to every country we ship to.

Will I pay import duty?
No. If your country charges duty, tax or VAT when the watch arrives, send us the receipt and we refund that amount.

What currency are the prices in?
Your own. The store shows prices in your local currency across the 41 countries we ship to.

What is the warranty?
Two years on the movement, crystal, case and dial, the same wherever you live. Australian customers also hold rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Are these real Seiko watches?
The movement is genuine Seiko on almost every build: an automatic, or a VK63 meca-quartz on the chronographs. The Day-Date runs a Miyota automatic. The case, dial, hands and bracelet are chosen and assembled by us, and the watch is sold as exactly that: a custom build, not a factory Seiko. Seiko does not endorse or warrant mods, which is why we back it with our own warranty instead. The long answer is in what a Seiko mod is.

What does one cost?

Can I see one before I buy?
Not in a shop, no. What I can do is send you photographs of your actual watch before it goes out. Ask and I will.
